Mr. Rullman submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Under title "Miscellaneous," line 3, after the word "dol-
lars," insert "to the person employed to take care of the
Public Buildings, six hundred dollars."
Which was rejected.
The bill as amended, was then read a second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading, and

The further consideration thereof was postponed.
And said bill made the order of the day for March let,
1876.
The hour having arrived for taking up unfinished business,
The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill, enti-
tled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments an Act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
Session, in the year 1868, chapter 334, approved March 30th,
1868, entitled an Act supplementary and amendatory of an
Act, passed at the present session of the General Assembly of
Maryland, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Cum-
berland and Pennsylvania Railroad Company, passed at the
January Session, 1849, chapter 469, and to further repeal and
amend said last named Act,
Said bill being upon a third reading.
Paid bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
