The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments that
part of Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, contained between Sections 314 and 334, both inclusive,
title "Washington County," sub-title "Williamsport," and
to confirm and make valid the election held in said town of
Williamsport, on the first Monday in March, 1875, for Bur-
gess, Assistant Burgess and five Commissioners for said
town, and to confirm and make valid the action of the said
officers so elected, in appointing a bailiff for said town.
Said bill being upon a second reading,
Said bill was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
And having been engrossed,
Mr. Smith, Speaker, moved that the bill be read a third
time this day, under the provisions of the Constitution, Sec.
27, Article 3.
The question recurring upon concurring in the motion,
