Also, favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, Section 5 of Article 93, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, as amended and re-enacted by an Act passed at
the January Session, 1874, ch. 155.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Chaisty, Chairmans the part of the House, of the
Joint Committee on Printing, submitted the following
REPORT.
Gentlemen of the Souse of Delegates:
The Committee on Printing in response to the order adopted
by the House on the 26th inst., beg leave to report that, as
was stated in their report on the 14th inst., the Governor's
Message, the Comptroller's Report, the Insurance Commis-
sioger's Report and the Fishery Report, have been printed
and partly distributed.
The Committee would state, that they know no reason why
the various documents contracted for have not been distrib-
uted, except that the messenger, whom the Committee have
appointed to collect the documents from the Printer, has not
been able to procure all the documents, in consequence, as the
folder informs us, of the large number of gentlemen of the
House who have been in the habit of going to the Printer's
office, and taking away a large number of copies, whilst
others are in the habit of going to the folder's room, and
seizing upon and appropriating to themselves more than their
proper share of documents.
The Committee have resolved now, that the explanation
has reachdd us, to insist that all documents shall be brought
by the messenger to the folder's room, and, when folded by
him, shall be distributed by the pages equally to members.
Very respectfully,
E. J. CHAISTY,
Chairman.
Which was read and adopted.
