The Senate bill entitled an Act granting additional powers
to the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Constable, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 8, of chap-
ter 506, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act for the taxation of
Dogs in the State of Maryland, and to re-enact the same with
amendment.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Usilton, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to establish a wholesale fish, oyster
and produce exchange in Baltimore city.
Which was read a first time, and
On motion of Mr. Robinson,
Ordered to be printed.
The Secretary of the Senate returned the bill entitled an
Act to amend the charter of the Worcester Railroad Com-
pany, and its supplements.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 619, 620, 625,
626, 627 and 628 of Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, ti-
tle "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Justices of the Peace and
Constables," and to enact certain Sections in lieu of the Sec-
tions so repealed.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays,"
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act, to incorporate
the Sate Deposit Company of Baltimore, chapter 242, or the
Act of the General Assembly of 1864, and the Act to amend-
atory thereof being cnapter 82, "of 1867, and chapter 394, of
1868, and to change the name of said corporation to the Safe
Deposit and Trust Company of Baltimore.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also, delivered the following bill:
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 4 and 6, of chapter
150, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to establish a Com-
mission at Fisheries of the State of Maryland, define its du-
ties, and to appropriate a sum of money to defray the ex-
penses thereof, and to re-enact the same amendment.
Which was read a first time and referred to a Select Com-
mittee on Fisheries
