Mr. Loane, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Woodberry Manu-
factur ng Company of Baltimore county.
Which was read a first time.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal the first Section of the Act
passed at the January Session, 1854, chapter 122, of the
General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act amendatory
of the Act to incorporate the South Baltimore Company,
passed December Session, 1832, chapter 96,and to extend the
duration of said Act to January 1st, 1880, and to appoint
additional corporators, and to increase the capital stock of
gaid Company to six hundred and twenty-five thousand dol-
lars, and to protect the rights of said Company from forfei-
ture by non-uses
Which was read a first time.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Virginia Annual
Conference of the United Brethern in Christ.
Which was read a first time.
Also,
A bid entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January Session, 1868, chapter 334, approved March
30th, 1868, entitled an Act, supplementary and amendatory
of an Act passed at the preoent session of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad Company, passed at
the January Session, 1849, chapter 469, and to turther repeal
and amend said last named Act.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Harig, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, to
whom was referred the petition of S. H. Sechman, of Alle-
gany county, praying to be released from payment of certain
fine and costs, reported unfavorably thereon,
And the report was adopted.
Also,
Reported unfavorably upon the petition of Thomas M. Cole
and John C. Gaylor, for compensation for services rendered
In capturing the outlaw, John Sims.
And the report was adopted.
Mr. Loane, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
