Mr. Rutledge presented the petition of John S. Norris,
and others, of Harford county, praying that pensions be
granted to Vincent Hudson and Sarah Morris, one a soldier,
and the other a widow of a soldier of the war of 1812.

Mr. Lambdin presented the petition of George J. James,
and others, asking for a law to catch oysters in boats of ten
tons and under, in the waters of Little Choptank river, and
Brannock's bay, in Dorchester county.

Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Mr. Smith, of Baltimore county, presented the petition
from 130 ladies of Baltimore county, asking for Local
Option.

favor of Local Option.

Mr. Fitzjarrell presented the petition of R. H. Jump, Levi
Duke, John W. Catrup, and 64 others, asking for the pas-
sage of an Act for a reassessment in the State, to cover every
description of property, without regard to the purpose for
which it is used.
Was read and referred to the Committee on Ways and
Means.
Mr. Purnell presented the petition of N. B. Williams and
other citizens of Worcester county, praying that no law be
passed to prevent stock from running at large in said county.

Mr. Onley presented the petition of W. H. Rowley and
others, praying against repeal of Local Option Law of Wor-
cester county.
