All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
On motion of Mr. Gill, (the rules being suspended,)
The House then proceeded to the consideration of the bill
entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sec-
tion 25, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore."
Said bill bring upon a third reading.
On motion of Mr. Gill,
The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the
Whole to consider said bill—Mr. Chaisty in the chair.
After some time spent in the Committee of the Whole, the
Committee rose, and through Mr. Chaisty, Chairman, re-
ported that they had had under consideration the
Bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Section 25, of Article IV., of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "City of Baltimore," had made some progress
thereon, and reported the same with the following proposed
amendments.
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED
In line 12, Sec. 25, alter the word "and," printed bill, in-
sert the words "proceed to."
In line 12, Sec. 25, after the word "nomination," insert
the following, "and may adjourn from day to day, until the
convention shall have confirmed or rejected all such nomina-
tions."
In line 14, St-c. 25, strike out the words "adjournment of
