A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay William B. Morgan, of Harford county, money for taxes
erroneously paid by him into the Treasury of the State.
Which was read a first time.
Also, without amendments,
The Senate bill entitled an Act foi the relief of Rachel
Wilson, by reiunding State and county taxes erroneously
paid.
Which was read a second time, and
On motion of Mr. Rutledge,
Referred to the Harford delegation.
Mr Chaisty, Chairman on the part of the House, of the
Joint Committee on Printing, reported favorably,
A bill ent'tled an Act to provide for the public printing
for the General Assembly of Maryland.
Which was read a first time.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Thomas E. Ensor, late Collector of Taxes of Baltimore
county, money erroneously paid by him into the Treasury of
the State.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Hance, Chairman of the Committee on Internal Im-
provements, reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to protect English mockingbirds in
Charles, Calvert, St. Mary's and Kent counties.

Mr. Stewart, Chairman of the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries, reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to pay Herbert F. Moon, of St.
Mary's county, for services rendered in the arrest of violators
of the Fishery Law of this State.

Mr. Harig, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Edward F. Morris, tax collector for the 1st and 2nd dis-
tricts of Caroline county, for the years 1872 and 1873, for
money over paid into the Treasury.
