The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment
to Isaac D. Jones, of the balance of his claim made to the
General Assembly of 1874, for expenses and compensation as
one of the Commissioners to adjust the Boundary Line be-
tween the States of Virginia and Maryland.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 1, 4th line, strike out the words "and sixty."
The proposed amendment was adopted, and the bill, as
amended, read a second time.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 459, 464 and 469
of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "City
of Baltimore," sub-title "Live Stock," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

money for the purpose of making repairs and additions to
the furniture of, and for procuring articles necessary for the

A bill entitled an Act relating to the Franklin Bank of
Baltimore.

Mr. Rutledge, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate seven thousand dollars,
or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the purchasing, of
a suitable lot and the erection thereon of scales, adapted to
the weighing of hay, straw and live stock.
