The petition of R. Scott Norris, T. H. Bartlett, C. K.
Adams, and 167 others, of Baltimore city, asking for Local
Option.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
Mr. Albaugh presented the petition of R. Pumphrey, ask-
ing for a pension.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
Mr. Snowden presented the petition of Mary T. Bowie, of
Prince George's county, for a pension.
Which was read and referred to the Committed on Pen-
sions.
Mr. Given presented the petition of citizens of Baltimore
county, in favor of the repeal of the law in reference to the
opening of streets in Baltimore county.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county del-
egation.
Mr. Lankford presented the petition of 191 citizens of Som-
erset county, for the better regulation offences in said county.
Which was read and referred to the Somerset delegation,
Mr. Goldsborough presented the petition of James H.
Saulsbury and 115 others of Caroline county, praying that
the law known as the "Local Option Law." be not repealed in
said couniy.
Which was read and referred to Messrs Goldsborough,
Culbreth and Hinks.
Mr. Snowden presented the petition of William Hillary,
of Prince George's county, for a pension.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.
Mr. Goldsborough presented the petition of William S.
Ridgely and 258 others, of Caroline county, praying that
the law known as the "Local Option Law," be not repealed
in said county.

Mr. Atkinson presented the petition of 400 citizens of the
city of Cumberland, praying for the passage of a law for the
protection of fish in the upper waters of the Potomac.
