So the motion to refer was decided in the negative.
The question then recurring upon the adoption of the
amendment submitted by Mr. Rinehart,
It was rejected.
Mr. Ward submitted following amendment:
Insert the name of "W. F. J. Henry, of Cecil county,"
after the words* "Baltimore city," and add the letter "s"
to the word "page."
Which was rejected.
Mr. Goldsborough moved to lay the whole subject on the
table,
The question recurring upon concurring in the motion.
Mr. McAleese demanded the yeas and nays,
The demand being sustained.
