the final adjournment of this House.
Which was read, and,
On motion of Mr. Doualdson,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
order referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Loane submitted the following order:
WHEREAS, On the 14th inst. the House unanimously
adopted the following order:
"That the Clerk of this House mail to each newspaper in
the State, and to the Committee on Revolutionary Claims,
United State's Senate, the Daily Journal of this House."
Therefore be it ordered, That the Clerk of this House be,
and he is hereby authorized to call on the Postmaster of the
House, for such postage stamps as he may require to carry
out the provisions of the above order. '
Which was unanimously adopted.
On motion of Mr. Lancaster,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
report a bill to establish an Abattoir in or near the City of
Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Lancaster, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Hawkins be excused grom attendance
in this House to-day, in consequence of urgent business in
Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Baldwin,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation, to
intro luce a bill to repeal Section 155, of Article 3, Public
Local Laws, entitled Baltimore county, repealed and re-en-
acted at the January Session of the General Assembly, 1868,
chapter 281, in regard to the opening of streets in Baltimore
county; also to repeal an Act, passed at the January Session
of the General Assembly, 1874, chapter 441, on the same
subject.
On motion of Mr. Vandiver,
Leave was granted to the Harford delegation, to introduce
a bill to amend the charter of the town of Havre-de-Grace,
by adding Sections to the Public Local Laws of Harford
county, sub-title "Havre-de-Grace."
On motion of Mr. Mattingly,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims, to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to pay John A. Camalier his
