A bill entitled an Act to prevent the taking of crabs in the
waters of Somerset county, by non-residents of said county,
for sale.
Endorsed, "Unfavorably reported and report adopted."
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 1 and 2, sub-chap. 2
Sec. 6 of sub-chap 3; Sec. 1 and 5 of sub-chap. 4, and Sec-
2 of sub-chap. 10, of chap. 377, of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed January Session, 1872, en-
titled an Act to repeal an Act passed January Session, 1870,
entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at the January Ses-
sion, 1868, entitled "public education," providing a general
system of free public schools for the State of Maryland, and
to repeal all laws inconsistent therewith, and to re-enact the
same with amendments, as amended by chap. 463, of the
Acts passed at the January Session, 1874, and to substitute
other Sections in lieu of those repealed, and to add two new
Sections to sub-chap. 4, of said first-named Act, to be num-
bered 10 and 11.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections
to Article 66, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Licenses," under the sub-title "Coal Mining."
Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Hinks moved that the enacting clause of the bill be
stricken out.
The question recurring upon concurring in the motion,
