On motion of Mr. Stewart, (the rules being suspended,)
The House proceeded to the consideration of the following
order submitted on Saturday last,
Ordered, That Conrad Prinz, the efficient door keeper of
this House, receive the sum of ninety dollars, in addition to
his regular pay.

So the order was rejected.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 180, Article 30,
of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Sabbath
Breaking, and to re-enact the same to read as follows.
Being upon a seeond reading,
Mr. Hoblitzell submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After the word "Saloon," insert, "Except from and after
the hour of 11 o'clock A. M."
