The bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section to
Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Freder-
ick County," sub-title "County Commissioners," to be known
as Section 45 A,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
ird reading.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills:
The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Farmers'
National Bank of Annapolis, to pay over to the heirs of
Samuel Gover, certain funds in said bank due the said Samuel
Gover's real estate.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.
Also,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 29 of the Act
of 1868, chapter 471, entitled an Act to repeal Article 26, of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to corporations,
and to enact a substitute therefor, and to repeal Section 22
of Article 16; Sections 99 to 103 of the same Article, and Sec-
tions 33 to 43, of Article 88, of the Code of Public General
Laws, and reenact the same as follows.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.
Also returned,
The bill entitled an Act to create a new Election District
in Prince George's county, to be known as District No. 14.
Endorsed: "Reported unfavorably, and report adopted."
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay for paving the bed of the street bounding on the State
House Circle, and for the repaving and improvement of the
pavement around the same.
Endorsed: "Reported unfavorably, and report adopted."
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money for
removing the remains of Maryland Soldiers of the late Con-
federate States Army, and interring them at Louden Park
Cemetery, and inclosing, arranging and keeping in order and
preserving the burial lot.
Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably, and report adopted."
Also,
The bill ratified an Act to add a Section to Article 65, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Negligence," for
