The bill entitled an Act to provide for the further protec-
tion of the oyster interest in Queen Anne's county,
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Dodson submitted amendments thereto in the nature
of a substitute for the whole bill.
The amendments, as proposed by the substitute, were
adopted, and the bill, as amended, read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the purchaser
or purchasers of the Kent County Railroad Company into a new
body politic, under the name of Kent County Railroad Com-
pany, or such other as they may adopt, and to allow the same
to be consolidated with the Smyrna and Delaware Bay Rail-
road Company, and to incorporate the said Company when so
consolidated,

January Session, 1874, chapter 214, and to re-enact the same
