The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills;
The bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act, passed at Jan-
uary Sesssion, 1864, chapter 64, entitled an Act to repeal
107th Section of Article 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws
for Allegany county, relating to the superintendent of the
National Road, as required by the Act of 1862, chapter 176,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Allegany
delegation.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of
State Inspectors of oils and fluids used for illuminating pur-
poses in this State, and for a Board of Direction upon the
inspection of illuminating oils and fluids.
Which was read a first time and referred to the. Commit-
tee on Inspections.
Also returned the following bills severally endorsed:

A bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 31, 34 and 36, of
Article 56, Code of Public General Laws, and to amend and
re-enact the same:

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the regulation of the
sale of spirituous and fermented liquors and larger beer in
Cecil county.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to provide for the settlement of the
Claims of the Clerks of Tobacco Warehouse No. 1.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county, to pay Samuel K. Griffith his
per diem as Judge of the Orphans' Court of said county,
during his absence from the session of said Court on account
of sickness.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 4, of the Act of
1860, chapter 274, entitled an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more and Liberty Turnpike Company, and to enact a sub-
stitute therefor.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 442, of the Act of
the General Assembly, passed at January Session, 1872, re-
lating to the shooting of wild fowl in the waters of Dor-
chester county, and to re-enact the same with amendments,.
