Pending the call of the yeas and nays,
Mr. Donaldson declined to vote for reasons heretofore given.
Mr. Stewart moved a suspension of the rules, and that the
House proceed to the consideration of the following order
submitted by Dodson on yesterday:
Ordered, That each of the reporters of this House receive
three hundred dollars, and that the Committee on Claims
pay the same on the order of the Chief Clerk.
