So the motion to adjourn was decided in the negative.
Pending the call of the yeas and nays,
Mr. Donaldson refused to vote, because as a member of the
Grand Inquest of the State of Maryland, he is bound to find
according to the law and the evidence, but no evidence hav-
ing been submitted, he will give no verdict.
