Mr. Hodges submitted the following amendment:
"And, provided further, that nothing in this Section shall
be construed to apply to cases now pending tor the violation
of the Oyster Laws."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Dodson submitted the following amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Add to end of Section 5, "And provided further, that if the
captain or commander of the boat shall not he on board at the
time of violating the law, the person having charge of the
boat shall be held to answer the charge."
Which was adopted.
Section 5, line 6, after the word "dollars," insert "or both."
