The House resolved itself into a Committee of the Whole,
(Mr. Hodges in the Chair,) to consider
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay the claims of John F. Wiggins, Daniel Caulk, Henry
M. Tiralla, James E. Tate, Richard Tydings, Jno. H.
Handy, David Leonard, George McLaughlin, Moses McCor-
mick, Medairy & Bowers, and William T. Markland &
Brother.
After some time passed in the Committee of the Whole,
the Committee rose, and through Mr. Hodges, Chairman,
reported that the Committee of the whole House had bad
under consideration
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sura of money to
pay the claims of John F. Wiggins, Daniel Caulk, Henry
M. Tiralla, James E. Tate, Richard Tydinsrs John H.
Handy, David Leonard, George McLaughlin, Moses McCor-
mick, Medairy & Bowers, and William T. Markland &
Brother,
And adopted certain amendment thereto:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out the appropriation to "David Leonard, and
Moses McCormick."
