of the Circuit Court of Caroline county, the sum of $101 70,
for fees due him by the State, in the cases of the State against
Thomas W. Kemp and George McKeigler.

A bill entitled an Act to provide for maintaining and keep-
ing.in repair the public roads in Dorchester county.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Talbot county, to enter up judgment by confession
when the plaintiff makes oath that the consideration is just
and true as stated.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 786, of Article 4.,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Baltimore City,
sub-title "Orphans' Court," and re-enact the same with
amendment, and to add a new Section thereto, to be known
as Section 786 A.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to Article
15, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Montgomery
county," to provide for the allowance of certain deductions to
;persons paying their county taxes within times specified.

On motion of Mr. Stewart,
The House proceeded to the consideration of the veto by the
Governor, of the bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 221, of
the Acts passed at the January Session, 1874, regulating the
measurement of oyeters.
The question recurring upon the reconsideration of the bill,
Mr. Stewart moved a suspension of the rules, to enable him
to extend his remarks thereon for ten minutes beyond their
established limits.
