on the Judiciary.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 65 of Article 35
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Elections,"
and to re-enacf the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Elections.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to create a loan to discharge an
indebtedness of the President and Visitors of the Maryland
Hospital, now secured by mortgage of said Hospital and
premises, and to provide furniture for the same.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to add a new Section to Ar-
ticle 26 of the Code of Public General Lawn, relating to
Corporations, so as to provide a more summary remedy
against Companies incorporated by this State, with authority
to transport persons or property for hire.

on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to regulate the fishing with seiner
in the waters of Bush river, Gunpowder river, Middle river
or Back river, or their tributaries, situated in Harford and

vise the settlement heretofore made with Horace Resley,

of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Evidence," sub-
title "Competency of Witnesses," as enacted by chapter 385,
of the Act of the General Assembly of 1874, and re-enact the
game with amendments.
