REPORT.
That in pursuance of the recommendation from the Joint

matter already done for the General Assembly, for the sum
of thirty-eight thousand dollars.
We therefore recommend, that a contract be entered into,
with the said J F. Wiley, of Baltimore City, in accordance
with said proposition.
Your Committee would also state that they have examined
into the cost of the printing for the past six sessions and find
that the proposition referred to is nearly thirteen thousand
dollars less than the general average, and it is thirty-one
thousand and four hundred and thirty-six dollars less than
the amount paid for the printing at the last Session of the
General Assembly; they have enquired into the competency
and the responsibility of Mr. Wiley, and are fully satisfied
of his ability to perform the work satisfactorily, and they
also recommend that he give a bond in the sum of fifty
