Mr Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Ocean City Bridge
Company.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Hoblitzell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to empower the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to purchase, lease or condemn lands for
Public Parks or Squares within the limits of Baltimore
city.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Hinks, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled a supplement to an Act passed at the J-anu-
ary Session, 1860, chapter 267, entitled an Act incorporating
a Company to open in part and improve the road from Fred-
erick city, in Frederick county, to the Spout Spring, on the
Hamburg road, passing Bradrup's saw mill, as revived by an
Act passed at the January Session, 1868, chapter 213, enti-
tled an Act to revive an Act incorporating a company to open
in part and to improve the road from Frederick city, in Fred-
erick county, to the Spout Spring, on the Hamburg road,
passing Bradrup's saw-mill, passed at the January Session,
1860, chapter 267, and as amended by the Act passed at the
January Session, 1870, chapter 277, entitled an Act to re-
peal so much of Section 12, chapter 267, of the Act passed
March, 1870, entitled an Act to incorporate a Company to
open in part and improve the road from Frederick city, in
Frederick county, to the Spout Spring, &c., as relates to
rates of toll, and enact the toll >wing instead, viz.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Hooper, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably a bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled
an Act to require all Auctioneers making sales in Baltimore
county to a license fee.

A bill entitled an Act to prohibit the, granting of license
fpr the sale of spiritous or fermented Liquors, or lager beer
at or near Mount Vernon Factories in Baltimore county.
