requested to act as Chaplins to this House, to serve on
alternate days, or otherwise, to suit their convenience.

Referred to the Committee on Organization.
Mr. Gill submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the Speaker shall appoint a Committee of
five on the permanent Rules of the House, and the Speaker
shall be ex-officio Chairman.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Rusk submitted the following order :
Ordered, That when this House adjourn, it stands ad-
journed until to-morrow at 12 o'clock.
Which was adopted.
