So the order was laid on the table.
On motion of Mr. Vandiver, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Waters, of Carroll county, be excused
from attendance during the afternoon and evening sessions
to-day.
On motion of Mr. Fenton,
Ordered, That when the Morning Session of this House
closes to-day, it closes under recess until 4 o'clock this after-
noon, and when such recess is taken, the 4 o'clock Session
lasting until 6 1/2 o'clock, shall be devoted to bills presented
by the counties and Legislative Districts separately, the call
to begin where left off last night.
Mr. Fenton submitted the following order :
Ordered, That any Member not answering his name
when the roll is called, shall be noted by the Clerk, who
shall before the adjournment, read over the names of such
absentees, and have them entered on the Journal separately,
as absentees that day.
