Mr. Bird submitted the following order :
Ordered, That John Ireland receive the same compensa-
tion as a Committee Clerk of tins House receives, minus
stamps and stationery.

Mr. Loane submitted the following order :
Ordered, That from and after this day local bills shall
not be considered until final action has been had on the
general bills, except during sessions that may be held be-
tween the hours of four and six P. M., and at the session to
be held on next Monday night.

Mr. Koons submitted the following resolution :
WHEREAS, The Constitution wisely provides that all legis-
lation in this State shall be accomplished or effected only by
the assent of a majority of all the members elect to the Gen-
eral Assembly, therefore,
Resolved, That any and all measures of public interest
ought to be acted on in all cases without any preliminary
understanding, debate or discussion by any clique or caucus
claiming the right to bind members to pursue H particular
course on legislation in advance of its discussion in either
House of the General Assembly.
