On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to in-
troduce a bill to repeal and re-enact Section 59, of Article
30, of the Code of Public General Laws.
Mr. Fenton, from the Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported.
A bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the Clerk of
the Superior Court of Baltimore city to purchase the right to
use the Campbell System of Indexing in the Clerk's office of
said Court for the Land Records of said city.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Baltimore
city delegation
Mr. Robinson, acting Chairman of Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably with proposed amendments,
A bill entitled an Act to provide for the general valuation
and assessment of property in this State.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Usilton, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act for the promotion of Agriculture and
the Mechanical and Household Arts in Harford, Kent and
Howard counties.
Which was read a first time.
A bill entitled an Act- to repeal Sec. 6 of Article 69, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Offices," to regulate the
publication by the Comptroller of defaulters of the State,
Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
lows:
