So the motion to lay the motion to reconsider on the table
was not sustained.
The question then recurring upon the motion submitted by
Mr. H«'blitzell to reconsider the vote by which the amend-
ment submitted by Mr. Goldsborough, was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Snowden,
The House, at 3 o'clock. P. M., took a recess until 8
o'clock, this P. M.

The following bills having passed both branches of the
General Assembly, were this day presented to his Excellen6y,
the Governor, lor his approval:
No. 100. An Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay the
claims of John Murphy & Co , Wm. L. Pfeiffer, John
Himelheaver, James E. Tate, McDowell & Co., Samuel
Stewart, J. W. Kalmey, and Kelly & Piet & Co.
No. 101. An Act to provide for the completion of Wil-
kins' Avenue, in Baltimore county, as begun and partially
.completed under the Act of 1870, chapter 309.
