increase in his weekly wage from Thirty-five Dollars (f35. 00)
per week to Forty-five Dollars ($45. 00) per week; any
machinist employed in the Police Department of the City of
Baltimore after June 1, 1937, shall receive a salary of Thirty-
five Dollars ($35. 00) per week for the first year, Thirty-seven
Dollars and Fifty Cents ($37. 50) for the second year, and
thereafter Forty Dollars ($40. 00) per week; said wages and
salaries shall be paid by the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more and shall be included in the annual estimate of expenses
by the Police Commissioner of Baltimore City certified to the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect January 1, 1938.

CHAPTER 448.

AN ACT to extend the limits of the town of Cottage City, a
municipal corporation, by including therein a part of
Prince George's County contiguous thereto, and for other
purposes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That there is hereby annexed to the territory of the town
of Cottage City all the adjacent and contiguous territory in
Prince George's County described as follows:

Beginning for the same at the easterly right-of-way of the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad where it intersects Bunker Hill
Road (said place of beginning being also the point where the
easterly line of Central Avenue, if extended, would intersect
the said easterly right-of-way of the Baltimore and Ohio Rail-
road), thence running along the easterly right-of-way of the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in a northerly direction to the
westerly line of the northwest branch, thence running along
the southerly line of the northwest branch in a southeasterly
direction to the Washington-Baltimore Boulevard, thence
running southerly along the center line of the Washington-Bal-
timore Boulevard to Bladensburg Avenue (formerly known as
Bunker Hill Road), thence along the easterly line of Bladens-
burg Avenue to the point of beginning.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That except as herein-
after otherwise provided, all the provisions of the Constitu-
tion of Maryland, all Laws of the State of Maryland applicable
to the town of Cottage City which now are in force or may
