Section 5B and to follow immediately after Section 5A of
said Article, providing for payment of legal services to an
estate by an attorney as part of the costs of administration
on his own petition.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement),
title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Account", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 5B, to follow immediately after
Section 5A of said Article, and to read as follows:
5B. For legal services rendered by an attorney at law to
an estate, the Orphans' Court may on his own petition allow
such attorney such sums as it may deem reasonable as an
expense in the administration account of the Executor or of
the Administrator during whose incumbency such services
were rendered.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 442.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section 251
of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Testamentary Law", sub-
title "Orphans' Court", providing for the making of deposits
or investments by an administrator or guardian under the
direction and guidance of the Orphans' Court, and to re-
lieve an administrator or guardian from loss provided that
he shall exercise due care in the selection of a depository.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 251 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Testa
mentary Law", sub-title "Orphans' Court", be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
251. The Orphans' Court may, in their discretion, and when-
ever it shall seem proper to them, either ex-officio or upon
application, order any administrator to whom they may have
granted administration, or any guardian whom they may have
appointed or whose bond they may have approved, to bring
