CHAPTER 427.

AN ACT to add eight new sections to Article 27 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Crimes and
Punishments", to be under sub-title "Pistols", said new sec-
tions to be known as Sections 452A to 452H, inclusive, and
to follow immediately after Section 452 of said Article, re
lating to the sale, identification marks and possession of
pistols.

CHAPTER 428.

AN ACT to repeal and reenact with amendments Sections 321
to 342 inclusive of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Salisbury—Water and Sewers. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 321 to 342 inclusive of Article 23 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Wicomico County", sub-title "Salisbury—Water and Sew-
ers", be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments so as to read as follows:

321. For the purpose of providing funds for the design,
construction, establishment, purchase or condemnation and
maintenance and operation of the water supply, sewerage and
drainage systems of the City of Salisbury, the Mayor and
Council of Salisbury is hereby authorized and empowered
to issue bonds upon its faith and credit from time to time
in such amounts as may be deemed necessary by the
Mayor and Council of Salisbury, and to carry on the
said work, but at no time shall the total amount of such
bonds exceed the sum of five hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
Said bonds shall be either registered or coupon bonds issued in
such denominations as shall be determined by the Mayor and
Council of Salisbury by ordinance, shall bear interest not ex-
ceeding five per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, may
be either the serial or sinking fund bond type, and shall ma-
ture not exceeding fifty years from the date of issue, and shall
be forever exempt from State, County and Municipal taxation.
Said bonds shall be signed by the Mayor of Salisbury, with the
seal of the City attached thereto, attested by the Clerk of Sal-
isbury, and if coupon bonds, the coupons thereof shall be
