Allegany County—to care for the communities now served by
the following schools: Little Orleans, Roby, Green Ridge,
Fletcher, Pleasant View, Swain and Stottlemyer, $13, 500. 00;
Oldtown Consolidated School, f26, 000. 00; John Humbird
School, $16, 000. 00; West Side School (Greene Street) in
Cumberland, $50, 000. 00; Cresaptown School, $30, 000. 00;
Mount Savage School, $13, 500. 00; Eckhart School, $30,
000. 00; Beall High School, $160, 000. 00; La Vale School,
$7, 000. 00; Frederick Street Colored School in Cumberland,
$25, 000. 00; Bruce High School, $30, 000. 00; Allegany High
School, $100, 000. 00; Barton School, $3, 000. 00; Central High
School in Lonaconing, $32, 500. 00; Jackson School in Lonacon-
ing, $10, 000. 00; East Side School (Lindnerville), Cumberland,
$6, 500. 00; Hammond Street School in Westernport, $3, 000. 00;
Midland School, $6, 000. 00. All of the proceeds of said bond
issue remaining after the payment of all costs and expenses
incident to the acquisition of sites, erection of buildings and
equipment thereof, alterations, improvements or repairs as
hereinbefore directed and specified, shall be expended by the
Board of Education of Allegany County first, for emergencies
and variations in costs of estimates in the specified improve-
ments to the schools hereinbefore mentioned and for their
equipment, and second, for the other improvements herein-
before mentioned and the said Board of Education of Alle-
gany County shall account for the receipt of the net proceeds
from said bonds, and the expenditure thereof, in the same
manner as it accounts for other moneys passing through its
hands.

SEC. 6. And T)e it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law, and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths
of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of
its passage.

CHAPTER 420.

AN ACT to exempt the railroad property of the Baltimore and
Annapolis Railroad Company, or so much thereof as may be
used for railroad purposes by said company, its successors
