241 of said Article and to provide for fees for police officers
of incorporated towns in Somerset County serving State
writs in criminal cases and to limit service by such officers
to certain cases.
SECTION 1. Be -n, enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Somerset County", sub-title "Officers' Fees", said
new section to be known as Section 241A, to follow immedi-
ately after Section 241 of said Article and to read as follows:
241A. For serving a State writ in any criminal case within
the limits of an incorporated City or Town in Somerset
County, any police officer thereof shall be entitled to receive
from the County Commissioners the fee allowed to Sheriffs for
the same services; but such writs shall be served by such
police officer only in cases where the original arrest was made
by an officer of the police force of said City or Town.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 410.
An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 26
of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edi-
tion), title "Health", sub-title "Vital Statistics", to provide
a fee of twenty-five cents for each registrar who reports re-
ceiving no certificates of birth or death during any calendar
month, and to provide for certification to the County Com-
missioners of the amounts due registrars for the collection
of birth and death certificates.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 26 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Vital Sta-
tistics", be, and same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments so as to read as follows
26. The county registrar shall receive for performing the
services required under this sub-title the following fees: For
each full record of birth or death, twenty-five cents, to he paid
by the county upon warrant of the County Commissioners.
