and for the erection thereon of a State Office Building and the
equipment thereof. The Board of Public Works is hereby au-
thorized to acquire said site by purchase or condemnation un-
der Article 33A of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of the several counties of the State and the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore are hereby respectively directed
to levy the State taxes for the year 1938 at one one-hundredth
(1/100) of one cent on each One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) of
assessable property; for the year 1939 at one-tenth (1/10) of
a cent on each One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) of assessable
property; for the year 1940 at one-eighth (1/8) of a cent on
each One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) of assessable property;
and for the years 1941 to 1953 inclusive at three-eights (3/8)
of a cent on each One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) of assessable
property, to be collected according to law, to meet the interest
on the amount of said Certificates outstanding, and also to
meet and redeem so much of the principal in each of said years
as may be represented by Certificates redeemable in each year,
respectively, as herein specified in Section 2 of this Act.

SEC. S. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 369.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 351
of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Talbot County", sub-title "Oxford",
to provide for the use of certain funds for maintenance and
improvement of streets in Oxford.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 351 of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot County", sub-
title "Oxford", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments to read as follows:

351. The County Commissioners of Talbot County shall
pay annually to the Commissioners of the Town of Oxford, in
Talbot County, out of monies received by said County Com-
missioners from gasoline taxes or out of the County taxes
levied upon the property within the said County, such sum of
money, not exceeding the sum of Four Hundred ($400. 00)
