of delinquent taxes for the tax year 1935, whether done pursu-
ant to the provisions of this Act or pursuant to the provisions
of Chapter 128 of the Acts of 1935, shall have full force and
effect in law.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be
declared an emergency law and necessary to the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety, and being passed
upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the
members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 322.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 230
of the Acts of 1931, entitled "An Act authorizing and em-
powering the judges of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
County to appoint a stenographer for the Grand Jury of
Prince George's County, who, when not so engaged, shall be
the official stenographer for the State's Attorney for Prince
George's County, and who may be likewise subject to call
by the Circuit Court for said County for court service at
such times as not in active service of the Grand Jury or
the State's Attorney; and providing for the compensation
of said stenographer", as amended by Chapter 143 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1933, and by
Chapter 456 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, 1935, increasing the compensation of the stenographer
for the Grand Jury and State's Attorney.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
