510 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 272

Drinks", as the same were enacted by Chapter 393 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland at its Regular
Session of 1933, and amended by Chapter 22 of said Acts at
its Special Session of 1933, and Chapter 234 of said Acts at
its Regular Session of 1935; and to enact in lieu thereof
fourteen (14) new sections of Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County",
sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks", and to follow
Section 421 of said Article, and to be known as Sections
421A to 421N, inclusive; providing for the sale of beer, lager
beer, ale, porter and other brewed beverages containing no t
more than six (6) per centum of alcohol by volume, and
wine and other fermented beverages containing not more
than fourteen (14) per centum of alcohol by volume; pre-
scribing regulations and placing restrictions on the sale
thereof; prescribing license fees to be paid for the sale
thereof; providing how and by whom said licenses shall be
issued; providing for an appeal to the Circuit Court for
Harford County from the action of the County Commis-
sioners in refusing or revoking licenses; prescribing pen-
alties for the violation of the provisions thereof; and repeal-
ing the provisions of Section 414 to 421, inclusive, and Sec-
tions 352 to 380, inclusive, of Article 13 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland in so far as the same are incon-
sistent with the provisions of this Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 421A to 421M, inclusive, of Article 13 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford
County", sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks", as the
same were enacted by Chapter 393 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland at its Regular Session of 1933, and
amended by Chapter 22 of said Acts at its Special Session of
1933, and Chapter 234 of said Acts acts Regular Session of
1935, be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That fourteen (14) new
sections be added to Article 13 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County", sub-title "Liquors
and Intoxicating Drinks", to follow Section 421 and to be
known as Sections 421A, 421B, 421C, 421D, 421E, 421P, 421G,
421IT, 421-1, 421J, 421K, 421L. 421M and 421N, and to read
as follows:

421A. The term "beverages", as used in this Act, shall in-
clude beer, lager beer, ale, porter and other brewed beverages,
containing not more than six per centum of alcohol by volume,
and wine and other fermented beverages, containing not more
than fourteen per centum of alcohol by volume.
