equipment, and second for making improvements and additions
to such other public school buildings in Frederick County as
shall be deemed necessary.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners for Frederick County shall cause to be levied and
collected from the assessable property of Frederick County
such taxes as may be sufficient to pay for the interest on the
outstanding bonds issued in pursuance of this Act as the same
may fall due and also such further additional sums as may be
required to retire and redeem said bonds when and as the same
shall mature, until all of them shall have been retired. And
said taxes shall be collected in like manner as other taxes
levied in Frederick County are collected, and when collected
shall be applied to the payment of the interest on outstanding
bonds, and for the redemption of the same as they may mature
and become payable.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That said bonds shall be
sold by the County Commissioners after three weeks' advertise-
ment in such newspaper or newspapers as the said Commis-
sioners shall determine, to the highest bidder or bidders; pro-
vided, however, that the said Commissioners shall have the
right to reject any and all bids if the price is held to be in-
adequate.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That anything in this Act
to the contrary, notwithstanding that in the event any of the
projects herein designated to be carried out by the Board of
Education of Frederick County in pursuance to the authority
herein contained shall not be financially aided by any agency of
the United States of America to such an extent that the funds
derived for said project from the proceeds of this bond issue,
together with the funds received from said agency, shall not be
sufficient to pay the total cost of said project that then the
County Commissioners of Frederick County are directed not to
issue so much of said bond issue as has herein been allocated
to said project.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.
