such repeal shall take effect, or any offence committed, pen-
alty or forfeiture incurred, or any suit or prosecution pend-
ing at the time of such repeal, for any offence committed,
or for the recovery of any penalty or forfeiture incurred un-
der any of the provisions so repealed; and no ordinance or
part of any ordinance or resolution, which has been hereto-
fore repealed shall be revived by the repeal in the preceding
section, of any of the ordinances, parts of ordinances or reso-
lutions referred to therein.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That whenever the sing-
ular number is used in the General Ordinances published in
said Code the plural shall be included, and also, vice versa,
unless such construction would be unreasonable; and when-
ever the masculine gender is used in said General Ordinances
published therein all other genders shall be included, unless
such construction would be unreasonable.
SEC. G. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1937.

CHAPTER 254.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 120
of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
U930 Edition), title "Garrett County", sub-title "County
Treasurer", as enacted by Chapter 209 of the Laws of 1935,
to authorize, empower and direct the County Treasurer for
{Jarrett County to collect taxes levied by the Mayor and
Council of Mountain Lake Park upon motor vehicles owned
by residents of the Town of Mountain Lake Park, and to
make applicable to such taxes the rates of discounts and
interest charges presently in force or which may hereafter
be provided with reference to the collection of county taxes
for said Garrett County, providing compensation, therefor,
and providing for adjustments and releases by the Super-
visor of Assessments of Garrett County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 120 of Article 12 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Garrett
County", sub-title 'County Treasurer", as enacted by Chapter
209 of the Laws of 1935, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, to read as follows:
