votes; and shall thereupon declare by proclamation signed by
him, the name or names of the person or persons duly elected,
and shall cause such proclamation to be inserted in such news-
papers as he may direct.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 233.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title
"Motor Vehicles", to be under sub-heading "Social Premium
Plan of Automobile Safety", said new section to be known
as Section 185A and to follow immediately after Section 186
of said Article, providing for the establishment of plan to
promote care and safety in the operation of motor vehicles.

CHAPTER 234.

AX ACT to add a new section to Article 25 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "County Commis-
sioners, " sub-title "General Provisions, " said new section to
be known as Section 14A, and to follow immediately after
Section 14 of said Article, authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of certain counties to make regulations for the estab-
lishment, maintenance and operation of public dance halls,
boxing or wrestling arenas, amusement parks, or tourist
camps with cabins for hire outside the limits of incorporated
towns or cities, and requiring permits for the establish-
ment, maintenance or operation of same, and providing pen-
alties for the violation thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title
"County Commissioners, " sub-title "General Provisions, " said
new section to be known as Section 14A, to follow immediately
after Section 14 of said Article, and to read as follows:
