CHAPTER 40.
AN ACT to repeal Section 549 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, Article 21, title "Talbot County", sub-
title "Trappe", as the same was enacted by the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1914, Chapter 78, and to
re-enact the same with Amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 549 of the Code of Public Local Laws, Ar-
ticle 21, title "Talbot County", sub-title "Trappe", be, and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so
as to read as follows:
549. The County Commissioners of Talbot County shall
pay, annually, to The Commissioners of Trappe, in Talbot
County, out of the County taxes levied upon the property
within the limits of the Town of Trappe, such sum of money,
not exceeding the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars,
as may have been expended by The Commissioners of the
said Town of Trappe for the repair and maintenance of the
road bed of the streets of said town, or which may have been
applied toward the payment of any bonded or other indebted-
ness that may be incurred by the said The Commissioners of
Trappe for the permanent improvement of the streets and road
beds of said town; provided, that no money shall be paid here-
under, until and unless The Commissioners of Trappe shall,
on or before December 31st of each year, file with The Com-
missioners of Talbot County an itemized statement, with
vouchers, showing the actual amount of money so used and
expended by The Commissioners of Trappe, upon the road
beds of the streets of the said town, or applied toward the
payment of any bonded or other indebtedness that may be in-
curred by the said The Commissioners of Trappe for the per-
manent improvement of the streets and road beds of said town.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 329
of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Talbot County", sub-title "Oxford",
re-establishing and describing the boundary lines of the
Town of Oxford.
