munity or Development as the County Commissioners may des-
ignate. Each of said "Special Officers without Pay" shall be-
fore assuming his duties and before taking his oath of office
file with -the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel
County corporate bond, or personal bond signed and executed
by at least three owners of real property in Anne Arundel
County, which said bond shall be in the amount of Two Thou-
sand Dollars ($2, 000. 00) and shall be subject to the approval
of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County
and shall be conditioned upon the proper and faithful perform-
ance of the duties of said "Special Officer without Pay. " No
"Police Officer, " "Special Officer, " "Special Officer with Pay, "
or "Special Officer without Pay" shall hereafter be appointed
in Anne Arundel County save in accordance with the provi-
sions of this sub-title, provided, however, that nothing in the
provisions of this sub-title or Act shall apply or be taken to
apply to the Sixth Election District of Anne Arundel County
or to the appointment or method of appointment of any officer,
policeman or constable in said Sixth Election District of Anne
Arundel County.

406H. If any section of this Act, or any part of a section
hereof be declared unconstitutional, the section or part of a
section so deemed or declared to be unconstitutional shall be
deemed and taken to be severable from the balance of said Act,
and all the balance of said section or parts of sections and all
the balance of said Act shall be and remain as a valid and sub-
sisting Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts of any Public General or Public Local Laws, incon-
sistent with the provisions of this Act, be and the same are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 193.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 209A
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Sup-
plement), title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor Vehicles", sub-
heading "Rules of the Road", to require vehicles to stop be-
hind school buses in Carroll County, Wicomico County,
Charles County, Washington County and Howard County.
