District", and further to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, Sections 335 and 336 of the same title and sub-title
of said Code, as said Sections 335 and 336 were repealed
and re-enacted by Chapter 277 of the Acts of 1931 and as
said Section 335 was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter
335 of the Acts of 1931, requiring, among other things, the
County Commissioners of Baltimore County to publish cer-
tain annual reports in two newspapers, requiring the Chief
Sanitary Engineer of the Metropolitan District to file an
annual report, determining when and under what circum-
stances construction and/or extension of water and/or
sewer lines shall be made, eliminating the existing require-
ment that total connection charges and front foot assess-
ments shall equal at least 75% of the amount necessary for
interest and sinking funds to be paid during any year, doing
away with the sub-districts into which the Metropolitan
District has been divided, providing for the collection of
certain assessments and charges as State and County taxes
are collected, changing the fiscal year of the Metropolitan
District to coincide with the calendar year, granting power
to the County Commissioners to adopt an ordinance pro-
viding for the payment of certain unpaid assessments and
charges in installments, changing the levy for any annual
deficiency from the sub-districts to the district and in gen-
eral making, through the repeal and re-enactment of said
sections with amendments certain changes in the law relat-
ing to the Baltimore County Metropolitan District.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 328 and 330 of Offutt's Revised Code of
the Public Local Laws of Baltimore County (Edition of 1929),
title No. 29, "Health and Sanitation", sub-title "Baltimore
County Metropolitan District", and Sections 335 and 336 of
the same title and sub-title of said Code, as said Sections 335
and 336 were repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 277 of the
Acts of 1931 and as said Section 335 was repealed and re-
enacted by Chapter 335 of the Acts of 1931, are hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:

Section 328. Por the purpose of carrying out the provi-
sions of this Act, said District shall be under the jurisdiction
of the County Commissioners of Baltimore County, herein-
after called Commissioners. The Commissioners shall meet
and sit on Monday of each week, and on such other days as
may be necessary, at their office for the transaction of busi-
ness under this Act. Each of the Commissioners shall receive,
in addition to the sum of $2, 400 per annum as now provided
