shall have full power and authority to establish and/or main-
tain, directly or by contract, reasonable facilities for the public
recreation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 156.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 406-J
of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title
"Plumbing", as enacted by Chapter 402 of the Laws of 1935,
to increase the fees payable to the Plumbing Commission of
Anne Arundel County for issuance of permits and inspection
of plumbing.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 406-J of Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel
County", sub-title "Plumbing", as enacted by Chapter 402 of
the Laws of 1935, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments to reads as follows:

406J. A minimum permit and inspection fee of One Dollar
and Fifty Cents shall be made for a permit to connect any
building or premises with a sanitary sewer or to a septic tank,
cesspool, or other means of sewerage disposal. An extra or
additional fee of Seventy-Five Cents shall be paid for each
and every plumbing fixture installed.

For the installation of plumbing work or fixtures in build-
ings already connected with a public or private means of sew-
erage disposal, the minimum fee for permit and inspection
shall be One Dollar and Fifty Cents, which shall include the
installation of not to exceed one fixture. An extra or addi-
tional fee of Seventy-Five Cents shall be charged for each and
every fixture in excess of one.

The minimum fee for permit and inspection, covering plumb-
ing alterations inside or outside of any building, shall be One
Dollar and Fifty Cents, which shall include the changing or
moving of not more than one existing fixture, together with
pipe and incidental work, or the installation or relocation of a
septic tank or cesspool. An extra or additional fee of Seven-
