(j) For official examination of companies, under this Article,
the charges specified in Section 50 of this Article.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 145.
AN ACT concerning liability for participation in breaches of
fiduciary obligations and protecting persons dealing in good
faith with fiduciaries in reorganization matters, by adding
an additional section, to be known as Section 14, to Article
37A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Cumulative
Supplement to the Edition of 1924) and making amendments
incidental thereto to Sections 12 and 13 of said Article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Nary-
land, That a new section, to be designated as Section 14 and to
follow immediately after Section 13 of Article 37A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Cumulative Supplement to
the Edition of 1924) be and the same is hereby added, said
section to read as follows:
14. DEPOSITS BY FIDUCIARIES UNDER REORGANIZATION AGREE-
MENTS. (1) For the purposes of this section the following
definitions, in addition to those contained in Section 1 of this
Article, shall apply:
(a) The term "reorganization agreement" includes any de-
posit agreement, protective agreement for the protection of
holders of any class or classes of securities (as defined in para-
graph (c) of this sub-section) or similar agreement or instru-
ment which embodies any plan of reorganization (as defined
in paragraph (d) of this sub-section) or which provides for
or permits the formulation or carrying out (or both) of a plan
of reorganization.
(b) The term "committee" includes any reorganization or
protective committee formed for the purpose of formulating,
proposing and/or carrying out any plan of reorganization (as
defined in paragraph (d) of this sub-section) and/or to act
in any other manner for the protection of the interests of the
holders of any class or classes of securities (as defined in para-
graph (c) of this sub-section), or persons performing a
similar function, and any corporation formed or acting for
any such purpose.
