and all of the provisions of law relating to said District, in-
cluding taxes, assessments and benefit charges levied in al]
other parts of said District.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 141.

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 27 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Crimes and
Punishments, " sub-title "Burglary" said new section to be
known as Section 35A, to follow immediately after Section
35 of said Article, and to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, Section 36 of said Article 27, defining the crime of
Burglary.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That one new section, said new section to be known as
Section 35A, be and is hereby added to Article 27 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Crimes and
Punishments, " sub-title ''Burglary, " to follow immediately
after Section 35 of said Article, and that Section 36 of
said Article 27 be and is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, so as to read as follows:

35A. Every person, his aiders, abettors and counsellors,
who shall break and enter any dwelling house in the night
time with the intent to steal, take or carry away the personal
goods of another of any value therefrom shall be deemed a
felon, and shall be guilty of the crime of burglary.

36. Every person, his aiders, abettors and counsellors, who
shall be convicted of the crime of breaking a dwelling house
in the day time with intent to commit murder or felony there-
in, or with the intent to steal, take or carry away the personal
goods of another of any value therefrom, or breaking a store-
house, warehouse or other out-house in the day or night with
an intent to commit murder or felony therein, or with the in-
tent to steal, take or carry away the personal goods of another
of any value therefrom, shall be sentenced to the penitentiary
for not more than ten years.
