Section 1014 of said Article, adding an additional area to
the Washington Suburban Sanitary District, said area
fronting Marlboro Pike and the Suitland Road in Prince
George's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That two new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Washington
Suburban Sanitary District", said new sections to be known
as Sections 990B and 990C, to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 990A of said Article, as said section was enacted by
Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1935, and to read as follows:

990B. The following area is hereby added to the Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary District: On the north side of the
Piney Branch or Avenel Road, beginning at a stone planted
on the eastern bank of a small stream at the end of the 15th
line of a conveyance made Mar. 6, 1875 by George W. Riggs
to Elizabeth Hutchison for 298 3/4 acres, thence by and with
the lines of said Articles of Agreement, of Sept. 20, 1879, South
61 degrees 30 minutes West 3. 32 perches to a stone, thence
South 88 degrees, 30 minutes West 33. 72 perches to a stone
planted on the eastern edge of a public road, known as the
Piney Branch or Avenel Road, thence still South 88 degrees,
30 minutes West 1 perch to the center of said road, thence
with the center of said road North 11 degrees, 15 minutes West
31. 35 perches, thence leaving said road North 62 degrees
East 50. 17 perches to a line of conveyance made June 22, 1874,
thence with said line with allowance of 3 degrees variation
South 32 degrees, 45 minutes East 45. 3 perches to the place
of beginning, containing 14. 7 acres, more or less. On the south
side of said road, beginning for the same at this end of the
4th line of a conveyance from John N. Maus to James E.
Fowler, Nov. 29, 1852 in J. G. H. 2, Folio 216, thence North
according to the line of said tract to the center of the County
road leading from Bladensburg to Colesville (now known as
the Piney Branch or Avenel Road), thence with the center of
said road in the direction of Colesville to the line of James
Parker's land, thence with said Parker's land to the 5th line
of said deed from John N. Maus to James T. Fowler, thence
with said 5th line to the place of beginning, containing 50
acres, more or less.

The jurisdiction of the Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission is hereby extended to include the territory herein-
above described, and said area shall be subject to all the rules,
regulations, etc., of said Commission, and all of the provisions
of law relating to said District including taxes, assessments
and benefit charges levied in all other parts of said District.
