dome of the State House, and the bearings are referred to the
true meridian at the origin of coordinates. Containing seventy-
nine one hundredths of a square mile of land, more or less.
And the said City shall be divided into four wards by the Cor-
poration of said City, and the citizens of Annapolis qualified
to vote for members of the General Assembly of Maryland, and
otherwise qualified by the registration and election laws for
such cases made and provided, shall elect by ballot every four
years beginning in 1937, on the second Monday of July, a
Mayor and a Counselor and the voters in each ward shall at
the same time elect by ballot two residents thereof as Aldermen
who shall constitute the Corporation of the said City under
the name and style of the Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen of
the City of Annapolis.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That all Acts or parts of
Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, or any of
them, be, and they are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 119.

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 3 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland, Flack's Code (Edition of 1930),
title "Baltimore County", sub-title "County Commissioners'7,
said new section to be known as Section 135C and to follow
Section 135B, as enacted by Chapter 176 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1935, authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore County to borrow upon the faith and
credit of said County at any time and from time to time
hereafter, sums of money not to exceed at any one time five
hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($550, 000. 00) in the
aggregate actually outstanding under this section, Sections
135A, 135B and Section 126 of said Article 3, and author-
izing the issuance of notes therefor; and further providing
for the repayment of any such sums, together with interest
thereon, by taxes levied upon the assessable property of
said County, and that any partial invalidity shall not affect
the remainder hereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That one new and additional section be and it is hereby
