of issue shall be redeemed at the first amount thereof, with
accumulated interest, and the bonds issued pursuant hereto
shall be exempt from all State, County and Municipal taxes.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Burgess
and Commissioners of Middletown shall have full power and
authority to sell said bonds, and they shall use the proceeds
derived therefrom for the laying of pipe lines, the purchase
of new springs and surrounding lines, the lining of the
reservoirs, and for all other purposes which will increase the
efficiency and supply of water to the town of Middletown.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Burgess and
Commissioners of Middletown shall have full power and
authority and it is required to levy all necessary taxes upon
the property within the taxable limits of the said Corporation
for the payment of interest on the bonds hereby authorized to
be issued, and for the payment of the principal of said bonds
as they mature or for the purpose of providing a sinking fund
for the liquidation of said bonds as they mature.

CHAPTER 106.
An ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 360
of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County", sub-title
"Police Justice", increasing the salary of the Police Justice
in Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 360 of Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester
County", sub-title "Police Justice", be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
360. That the said police justice shall receive as compen-
sation for his services the sum of fourteen hundred and forty
dollars ($1, 440) per year, or the proportionate part thereof, so
long as lie shall continue to act as such police justice, said
salary to be paid by the County Commissioners of Dorchester
County, in equal monthly instalments, and shall be paid as full
compensation for services rendered under this Act; and no
police justice shall charge any fee other than provided by law
or receive any gratuity for making any commitment granting
